About me
Markus Acar, a computer science student at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, has achieved remarkable success in prestigious science and technology competitions. Hailing from Mardin, Turkey, Markus reached the finals of CERN’s 2020 particle physics competition with their e-detector project and secured third place in the 2018 National Science Project Competition with a smart city initiative.
In 2021, he delivered a TEDx talk titled "Sınırların Ötesine Yolculuk" at TEDxMEFUniversity in Istanbul, emphasizing the importance of perseverance.
Currently, Markus is an Advanced Computer Technology Coordinator (Co-op) at Ontario Shipyards, where he develops AI-powered applications and manages the company’s website.
