Markus Acar - a jack of all trades, master of some. He is a part-time student, a part-time entrepreneur, and a full-time tech enthusiast. Originally from Mardin, Turkey, but currently studying in Canada, Markus is on a mission to make the world a more sustainable place, one startup at a time. He's always up for a challenge and loves exploring the latest breakthroughs in science and technology. When he is not busy changing the world, Markus can be found discussing politics and networking with people from all walks of life. February 2022 - March 2022, McMasterDeveloped a Limits Visualizer App using Elm and Haskell to aid calculus students in improving computation skills by providing limits of discontinuities, limits at infinity calculations, and sample questions. Enhanced the usability of the app by 20% through the addition of helpful error messages and a redesign of the user interface.

Graphene FET-based electron Detector
January 2020 - May 2020, CERNPioneered the design of a low-cost Graphene FET detector for Electron Beams on Particle Accelerators. The proposal ranked in the top 20 (4%) for its innovative design among 500 submissions in the CERN BL4S competition. Demonstrated expertise in advanced physics, electronics, and computer science, delivering a successful proposal with a clear focus on delivering real-world results.

February 2018 - May 2018, Maltepe UniversityUtilized C# programming principles to design and implement a smart city project that improved social and communication mobility, including the use of piezoelectric technology.
